Cleaning for dental surgeries, GP clinics and allied health practices in Brisbane
Practice managers need a cleaner who works to the infection-control plan, can produce a safety data sheet on request, and turns up after the last session every time. That is the job, and the owner does the walkthrough himself so the scope matches your rooms.

What goes wrong with cleaning in a practice
The wrong product on the wrong surface
A general-purpose spray used on a treatment room bench, or a disinfectant that leaves residue on the chair. Without a written routine that names the product for each surface, it depends on who turns up.
No paperwork when the assessor asks
Accreditation wants the cleaning schedule, the products and the data sheets. If the cleaner cannot produce them, the practice manager spends an afternoon reconstructing them from emails.
Cleaners who do not understand the boundaries
Instruments, sharps containers, clinical waste and sterilisation areas are not the cleaner's to touch. A cleaner who does not know that is a risk, not a help.
Patients notice before you do
The waiting room floor, the patient bathroom and the reception glass are what patients judge the practice by. A clinical room can be spotless while the waiting room lets the practice down.
Infection-control aware cleaning, without claiming to be something we are not
See the compliance packDelta is a cleaning company, not a clinical services provider, and we do not claim any healthcare accreditation. What we do is clean the environment to your practice's infection-control plan: the right product on each surface, rooms cleaned in order from cleaner to dirtier, touch points done every visit, and a clear line around the things we never touch, including instruments, sterilisation areas, sharps and clinical waste.
Every chemical we bring onto the site comes with its manufacturer's safety data sheet, supplied before the first visit for your chemical register and kept in your portal. Where the practice specifies a product, for example a hospital-grade disinfectant for particular surfaces, we use it and supply the matching sheet. Every cleaner on the site is police checked, Delta carries $20 million public liability insurance and has WorkCover in place, and the safe work method statements for the tasks in your rooms are part of the compliance pack.
The portal holds the cleaning schedule, the visit history, the inspection scores and the documents, which is the set of things an accreditation assessor usually asks a practice manager to produce about cleaning.
What a typical practice schedule looks like
Every site is different. This is the shape most agreements in this sector take once the walkthrough has been done.
- After every session
- Treatment and consulting room floors and benches, waiting room and reception, patient and staff bathrooms, touch points, staff room, general waste and bin liners.
- Weekly
- Chair bases and under-bench areas, skirting and ledges, bathroom walls and partitions, waiting room chairs wiped fully, reception glass inside and out.
- Monthly
- Staff room fridge interior on an agreed day, blinds and window sills, door frames, light switches and reception counters detailed, dispenser housings cleaned.
- Periodic
- Carpet steam cleaning of waiting and consulting rooms, high dusting of vents and ledges, window cleaning, strip and seal of vinyl floors, each scheduled around sessions.

Where we already do this work
Do you work to our infection-control plan?
Yes. The scope is written around it at the walkthrough: which product goes on which surface, the order rooms are cleaned, and the areas we must not touch. If the plan changes, the scope changes with it in writing.
What do you never touch in a practice?
Instruments, sterilisation and reprocessing areas, sharps containers and clinical waste. We clean the environment: floors, benches, touch points, waiting areas, bathrooms and staff rooms. Anything found out of place, such as a full sharps container, is reported to you the same day.
Can you provide what the accreditation assessor asks for?
The cleaning schedule, the products and their safety data sheets, the certificate of currency, the SWMS and the inspection scores are all in your portal. We do not claim any accreditation ourselves; we give you the records that show how the environment is cleaned.
When do you clean a practice that runs Saturday sessions?
After the last session on each day the practice is open, including Saturdays, or before the first session for early-opening clinics. The times are agreed at the walkthrough and written into the scope.
